Student protests are ongoing in Ni\u0161 and Subotica. In the city on the Ni\u0161ava river, a rally of the Movement for the People and the State is also taking place, where Ace Lukas’s concert has ended and Serbian President Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 is currently speaking.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the day, police and veterans separated students and Vu\u010di\u0107’s supporters in Ni\u0161, but there were no major incidents except for verbal altercations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students in blockade organized a protest in Subotica at multiple locations, which will last 12 hours. The protest, titled “We Are All in Subotica,” began at 2:00 PM and will last until two hours after midnight. And cyclists have just arrived at the protest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Ni\u0161, two gatherings are taking place \u2013 a rally of the Movement for the People and the State, where Serbian President Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 is currently speaking, and the “Let’s Elect (Ourselves)” protest of students in blockade demanding early parliamentary elections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On King Alexander Square, the main part of the student protest is scheduled for 6:30 PM. A large number of people have gathered near the Faculty of Economics. The program officially starts with the welcome of students who ran to Brussels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rally of the Movement for the People and the State is ongoing in Ni\u0161. An N1 reporter spoke with supporters heading to the rally and received interesting responses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked about their opinion on student actions, an older man said that the “canopy is just an excuse” and that “foreign services are behind everything.” “I don’t know exactly what to expect. I expect these people to support the president in the fight against these students. I think what they are doing is not right, they are destroying the state, and what Vu\u010di\u0107 is doing is right, and I support him. The canopy is just an excuse, foreign services are behind everything… Kurti supports them, and they support him. And Vu\u010di\u0107 was in Europe, but he only defends his country,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buses with SNS Supporters Through Student Protest<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Buses transporting people to the SNS rally passed through the roundabout near the Appellate Court in Ni\u0161 in the opposite direction, practically through the ongoing protest. Gendarmerie enabled their passage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
