As confirmed by the director of this social welfare institution, Predrag Mom\u010dilovi\u0107, there were no reports of violence, abuse, or neglect of children.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The injured child is the youngest in that family; he is raised by a single mother who receives social assistance. Besides him, she has three other children aged four, five, and seven. They are one of about two thousand families from our area who receive social assistance. For now, we have not been called, we will see what happens next; it is possible that it was an accident,&#8221; Mom\u010dilovi\u0107 concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The child arrived at the Children&#8217;s Dispensary in Leskovac yesterday at 10:45 AM, but due to the severity of the injuries, he was first transferred to the local General Hospital and from there to the University Clinical Center in Ni\u0161.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports from the Ni\u0161 hospital, the boy sustained burns on 60 percent of his body and is hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Clinic for Pediatric Surgery and Orthopedics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The child is still in the intensive care unit at the Clinic for Pediatric Surgery and Orthopedics.
