He passed away today at the VMA in Belgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was a patient who, from the very first day, according to the initial triage conducted by medical teams, was immediately referred for treatment at the VMA in Belgrade and who had been intubated and in critical condition for the past month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He suffered from 27 percent burns and serious injuries caused by inhaling smoke, reports <em>Kurir.mk<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On April 4, he underwent surgery at the VMA and was placed on an ECMO machine, which oxygenates the blood externally, due to smoke inhalation.
