The Serbian-American humanitarian organization “Save Serbian Children,” founded and led by Milo\u0161 \u0160upica, concludes the year in which it celebrated three decades of work with a series of donations. In the past month alone, donations have been sent twice to the Intermunicipal Organization of the Blind in Kru\u0161evac to support ongoing activities and to provide New Year and Christmas gifts for the youngest members of the organization\u2014visually impaired and blind children, as well as children whose parents belong to this category of the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assistance was also provided to the association Heroic 549th Motorized Brigade “Tsar Du\u0161an the Mighty,” supporting veteran fighters who defended Kosovo and Metohija during 1998 and 1999, as well as their families. Upon receiving the aid, the recipients expressed that beyond the material support, they deeply appreciated being remembered and recognized for their sacrifice for the homeland and Mother Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organization “Save Serbian Children” has not forgotten the residents of the poorest villages in Africa either. Through its partner organization “World Vision,” a donation was sent to provide at least one well with drinking water in areas where water is as precious as “dry gold.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another humanitarian organization, the American “Heart to Heart,” was also supported. Some of the world’s leading pediatric heart specialists, who have been saving children’s lives across the globe for decades on a purely voluntary basis, operate under the same principle as “Save Serbian Children” since its very founding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A significant event was the recent promotion of the organization’s vice president, Colette \u0160upica, daughter of the founder. After 17 years of dedicated work in social services focusing on the elderly and people with disabilities, she has transitioned to a managerial position at the Superior Court of Alameda County, California. Colette \u0160upica will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding probate court proceedings, as well as guardianship for minors, the elderly, and disabled individuals. Additionally, she will participate in supporting a new mental health program that has been implemented in Alameda County since December of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
