According to the latest investigation findings, Dane Koteski (46), a transportation company owner from a Chicago suburb, who was found dead three days ago in the premises of a burned building housing his company, was murdered before the fire was set.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to police reports, Koteski, who was originally from Macedonia, was found with a deep cut on his neck, definitively ruling out the possibility of an incident or accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspect in this case is a company driver, who was found by police the same day after a pursuit and is currently in custody in Michigan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators say they quickly identified the suspect, who was arrested at a truck stop in Holland, Michigan, about 240 miles from the crime scene. Prosecutors are expected to file charges upon his return to Illinois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortly after 4 PM on Wednesday, police and firefighters from the town of Crestwood responded to a call regarding heavy smoke at ATG Truckload company. At the scene, they found the deceased business owner, 48-year-old Dane Koteski, who was listed as the president and CEO on the transportation company’s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crestwood firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, and the man’s body was found on the second floor of the building, amidst thick smoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the tragic murder of Dane Koteski on March 5th, a humanitarian campaign was launched to help his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is to raise money to care for his 13-year-old son, Kiko Koteski, as well as to cover living expenses for his mother and sister in Macedonia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone who wishes to help can donate funds through the GoFundMe platform, and any assistance will be of great significance to the family during these difficult times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
