The Serb member and Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina \u017deljka Cvijanovi\u0107<\/a><\/strong> stated that turning a blind eye to the root of the problem does nothing to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response to SRNA\u2019s request for comment on the EU\u2019s statement calling on the political leadership of the Republic of Srpska to exercise restraint and abandon, as they put it, provocative rhetoric and divisive actions, Cvijanovi\u0107 pointed out that the statement notably fails to condemn the reckless venture Christian Schmidt has dragged Bosnia and Herzegovina into. It is Schmidt\u2019s unconstitutional and unlawful imposition of amendments to legislation \u2014 not the decisions adopted by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska \u2014 that triggered the crisis in the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018It is the height of hypocrisy to ignore the root of the problem and the undeniable fact that Schmidt abused both the Constitution and the judicial system in his bid to remove a democratically elected leader\u2019, Cvijanovi\u0107 underscored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
