Boston defeated Denver<\/strong> in an NBA league game<\/strong> after a dramatic finish in which the Celtics remained focused<\/strong>, preventing a comeback \u2013 110:103<\/strong> (32:20, 29:28, 22:29, 27:26).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nikola Joki\u0107 took a serious beating<\/strong>, finishing the game with bloody hands, bruises, and scratches<\/strong>, but still recorded a double-double<\/strong> performance: 20 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Boston Celtics<\/strong> secured a home victory over Denver Nuggets<\/strong>, winning 110:103<\/strong> in an NBA matchup<\/strong>. Serbian basketball star Nikola Joki\u0107<\/strong> played 39 minutes<\/strong>, scoring 20 points<\/strong>, grabbing 14 rebounds<\/strong>, and dishing out 9 assists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reigning NBA champions<\/strong> led throughout the game, at one point building a 20-point advantage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a shocking start<\/strong> to the game in Boston<\/strong>, as Nikola Joki\u0107 twisted his ankle<\/strong> in the very first minute and began limping. This impacted both his play and the game\u2019s outcome<\/strong>. Though he opened the match with a three-pointer<\/strong>, the Serbian center couldn\u2019t carry the weight of battling the Celtics alone<\/strong>, and when he needed support the most, it was nowhere to be found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He fought hard, grabbed rebounds, and nearly had a double-double in just 24 minutes<\/strong> (11 points, 8 rebounds), but he also ended up with a bloody hand<\/strong>. It seems someone on Boston\u2019s team might have inadvertently given him a new tattoo<\/strong>, as a deep scratch on his left triceps<\/strong> left him bleeding heavily<\/strong>. The game had to be stopped because Joki\u0107 couldn\u2019t continue, and despite his pleas for more protection from the referees,<\/strong> he had to keep fighting alone<\/strong>, even as one of the best players in the world<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting the second quarter from the bench<\/strong>, Joki\u0107 watched as Denver suffered a collapse<\/strong>\u2014Boston extended their lead to 20 points<\/strong>, leaving the Nuggets completely on their knees<\/strong>. The Serbian star was forced to return to the court earlier than expected<\/strong>, as the situation for the Nuggets had become catastrophic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
