(VIDEO)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>President of Republika Srpska, <strong>Milorad Dodik<\/strong>, stated at today\u2019s press conference that <strong>USAID<\/strong> directed funds to control elections in <strong>Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)<\/strong> and that he possesses <strong>accurate data<\/strong> on the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Before the previous elections, I addressed the public and claimed that &#8216;death threatens some.&#8217; This is linked to a money laundering scheme,&#8221;<\/em> Dodik said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He claimed that <strong>USAID spent $402 million over four years<\/strong> during the tenure of <strong>U.S. Ambassador Michael Murphy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;They claimed that Dodik rigged the last elections. Just think of all the issues we faced when we contested it. They even suspended the Constitution for a day. USAID spent $402 million, and they succeeded in many ways because here, political stances are bought with money,&#8221;<\/em> Dodik said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He announced that he would request <strong>the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska to investigate everything<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Today, I will issue an order for a full investigation. We will persist in this. I am grateful to U.S. President <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong> for initiating this wave of change because, until now, we only had obedient followers. Those who dared to stand up were sanctioned. With Trump\u2019s arrival, the world is being freed, and the U.S. is being restored as a democratic country, after having been deeply entrenched in crime and corruption,&#8221;<\/em> Dodik stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that <strong>in all 147 polling stations where scanners were used, not a single irregularity was recorded on election day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;But that wasn\u2019t enough for them, and they continued destabilizing the situation in BiH,&#8221;<\/em> Dodik said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dodik pointed out that the <strong>U.S. Department of Justice has launched a criminal case against three officials and USAID<\/strong> for election manipulation in the <strong>Philippines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;They determined that <strong>$1 million<\/strong> from USAID funds was used to <strong>bribe the president of the Philippines&#8217; election commission (CIK)<\/strong>. They even bought him a property in California as a sign of goodwill to employ mechanisms for election control. It is <strong>clearly established that a criminal corruption network of this kind exists<\/strong>,&#8221;<\/em> Dodik stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Republika Srpska president<\/strong> suggested that <strong>similar activities took place in BiH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;We believe it is necessary to conduct a clear and transparent investigation into what the U.S. Ambassador and USAID have done here. As president, I will initiate an investigation within the authorities of Republika Srpska into all transfers and influences USAID exerted in our region. This caused <strong>enormous damage to Srpska<\/strong>. I have been speaking about this for years. None of these companies were proven to be engaged in criminal activity; their only &#8216;crime&#8217; was that they were targeted for destruction,&#8221;<\/em> Dodik stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He emphasized that a <strong>comprehensive investigation<\/strong> would be launched in Republika Srpska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;I will request a full review from <strong>1995 to today<\/strong>, especially in recent times, to determine where those <strong>$402 million<\/strong> were allocated. About <strong>40,000 people in BiH received payments from USAID<\/strong> for various reasons. Of course, we will request a list of those individuals.
