The <strong>indictment names Milija K., Milena A., and Ivan S.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investigative actions were also conducted against <strong>Aleksandar J. and Du\u0161an K.<\/strong>, but since the <strong>alleged offense is not prosecuted ex officio<\/strong>, the prosecution decided to <strong>dismiss the criminal charges against them<\/strong>. However, <strong>misdemeanor proceedings<\/strong> will be initiated against both for the offense of <strong>Insult, Violence, Threat, or Brawl<\/strong> under Article 9, Paragraph 2 of the <strong>Law on Public Order and Peace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Victims and their legal representatives <strong>have the right to appeal<\/strong> the dismissal decision to the <strong>Appellate Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office in Belgrade<\/strong> within <strong>eight days<\/strong> of receiving the decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>prosecution has proposed conditional sentences<\/strong> of <strong>one year in prison<\/strong>, with a <strong>three-year probation period<\/strong>, and <strong>fines of 100,000 dinars<\/strong> each for <strong>Milija K., Milena A., and Ivan S.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>None of the defendants have prior convictions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INCIDENT DETAILS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is <strong>reasonably suspected<\/strong> that on <strong>November 22, 2024, between 11:52 AM and 12:07 PM<\/strong>, near the <strong>FDU building<\/strong>, during a <strong>public gathering in memory of those killed in the collapse of a shelter at Novi Sad Railway Station on November 1, 2024<\/strong>, the defendants <strong>Milija K. and Milena A. physically attacked<\/strong> participants, while <strong>Ivan S. engaged in violent behavior at the gathering<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Milija K.<\/strong>, along with unidentified individuals, allegedly approached <strong>N.T.<\/strong> and <strong>punched him multiple times in the face and body<\/strong>, causing <strong>minor injuries<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Milena A.<\/strong> allegedly used a <strong>closed dark blue umbrella<\/strong> to strike <strong>M.S. on the right hand<\/strong> and <strong>R.R. on the wrist<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ivan S.<\/strong> allegedly <strong>swung his fist<\/strong> at <strong>R.R. and N.T.<\/strong>, verbally threatened <strong>N.T.<\/strong>, <strong>insulted U.N.<\/strong>, and <strong>attempted to push through a \u201chuman wall\u201d formed by witnesses, FDU staff, and actors<\/strong> to protect students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:#FFFFFF;color:#d21414\" class=\"has-inline-color\">FIND OUT MORE IN ENGLISH:<\/mark><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fserbiantimes%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02Z5nrFez8o4armvPEB32P3CcxTd19Dqq4AAqMwPd7LGYaZdoSALNzorxksWjjhbWnl&#038;show_text=true&#038;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"616\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">VIDEO EVIDENCE AND WITNESS TESTIMONIES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Video footage confirms<\/strong> Milija K. <strong>punching<\/strong> N.T. in the head.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>N.T. provided medical records<\/strong> showing <strong>minor injuries<\/strong> and identified Milija K. as one of his attackers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Witness <strong>M.G. confirmed<\/strong> seeing Milija K. <strong>assaulting N.T.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Milija K. did not deny physical contact<\/strong> but claimed <strong>N.T. attacked him first<\/strong>, leading to a <strong>wrestling maneuver<\/strong> to push him off the road.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Milena A. appears on video hitting protesters with an umbrella<\/strong>, filming them, and speaking to them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Victims and witnesses all <strong>identified her<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>M.S. reported being struck twice on the head and hand<\/strong>, suffering <strong>a minor injury to his middle finger<\/strong>, but could not find his <strong>medical report<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>R.R. confirmed being hit<\/strong>, though this is <strong>not visible<\/strong> in the footage available to prosecutors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Milena A. claimed she was attacked first and spat on<\/strong> before retaliating <strong>once with her umbrella<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ivan S. appears on video attempting to break through the human barrier<\/strong> formed by <strong>professors and actors<\/strong> to <strong>protect students<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Witness <strong>R.R. stated<\/strong> that he <strong>got in her face and postured aggressively<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>N.T. reported that Ivan S. tried to attack him but failed<\/strong>, while also <strong>threatening him with violence<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Witness <strong>U.N. stated<\/strong> that Ivan S. <strong>verbally abused her<\/strong>, which was <strong>corroborated by M.S., J.K., and M.K.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Witness <strong>M.G. stated<\/strong> that <strong>Ivan S. repeatedly swung his fist at students<\/strong> but <strong>failed to hit them due to lack of space<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Witness <strong>M.K. claimed<\/strong> that <strong>Ivan S. struck multiple participants, even charging at women<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DISMISSAL OF CHARGES AGAINST ALEKSANDAR J.
