{"id":161671,"date":"2025-01-30T15:05:12","date_gmt":"2025-01-30T13:05:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/?p=161671"},"modified":"2025-01-30T15:05:12","modified_gmt":"2025-01-30T13:05:12","slug":"bosnians-have-gone-into-the-future-robots-now-milking-cows-all-work-done-electronically","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/bosnians-have-gone-into-the-future-robots-now-milking-cows-all-work-done-electronically\/","title":{"rendered":"BOSNIANS HAVE GONE INTO THE FUTURE: Robots now milking cows, all work done electronically!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Supporting young farmers is one of the key priorities of the <strong>Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management, and Forestry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina<\/strong>, Minister <strong>Kemal Hrnji\u0107<\/strong> stated during a visit to several farms in the <strong>Sanski Most<\/strong> municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Hrnji\u0107, the ministry has implemented <strong>special policies and incentives<\/strong> to encourage young farmers to remain and thrive in rural areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We have significantly increased <strong>agricultural funding<\/strong> to protect the agrarian sector and especially to keep young people in villages. Specifically, in <strong>Sanski Most<\/strong>, we invested around <strong>3.8 million marks<\/strong> in incentive funds last year, and we plan to continue at the same pace this year,&#8221; Hrnji\u0107 emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Federation of BiH budget proposal<\/strong> for this year includes an <strong>allocation of 183 million marks<\/strong> for agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;What makes me particularly happy is visiting young farmers who have decided to stay in rural areas and engage in <strong>milk production<\/strong>. They are satisfied with our <strong>incentive policies<\/strong>, and I am pleased to see them <strong>modernizing their production and implementing new technologies<\/strong>. We will continue to support them in this effort,&#8221; Hrnji\u0107 stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Automated Dairy Farms\u2014The Future of Agriculture<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One such farmer is <strong>Mehmed Alagi\u0107<\/strong> from <strong>Fajtovci<\/strong>, near <strong>Sanski Most<\/strong>, who took over his family\u2019s farm seven years ago after finishing high school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the years, he has <strong>significantly improved the farm<\/strong>, increased the <strong>number of livestock<\/strong>, and boosted <strong>milk production<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We currently have around <strong>70 cows<\/strong>, <strong>50 of which are for milking<\/strong>, producing <strong>800 liters of milk daily<\/strong>. The milking process is <strong>fully automated<\/strong>, carried out by <strong>robots<\/strong>. All livestock data is updated <strong>electronically<\/strong>, including <strong>feeding schedules<\/strong>. The system currently recognizes only <strong>landowners<\/strong> for subsidies, whereas <strong>leaseholders and concessionaires<\/strong> are left out.
