American filmmaker Oliver Stone stated that “Kosovo is a gangster state with a grand objective” and that its self-declared independence represents “a profound violation of everything we stand for.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an interview with journalist Tucker Carlson, published on the social network X, Stone said that the West\u2019s excuse for bombing the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was “to capture a dictator,” but that the real goal was destabilization and the “dismantling” of Yugoslavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We bombed a city in Europe\u2014Belgrade\u2014in 1999. Think about that,” said Stone, emphasizing that it was “an example of American divide and rule policy.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carlson, who has also interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin, remarked that during the 1999 bombing, he “did not hear a single debate” in the U.S. about the reason for launching military intervention against Yugoslavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“They held a referendum that was somewhat questionable, but we declared them free, no longer part of Serbia. That kind of Kosovo is a gangster state with a grand objective. I\u2019ve been there; I can tell you that what happened is horrifying,” said Stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
