(PHOTO)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>In front of the Saint Sava Temple in Belgrade on <a href=\"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/tag\/christmas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Christmas <\/a>morning, a traditional breaking of the \u010desnica (a special Christmas bread with a coin hidden inside), weighing over 200 kilograms and containing 33 gold coins, took place in the presence of hundreds of believers, with the youngest being the most delighted.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Union of Bakers of Serbia, which organized the event, announced that the \u010desnica was made with over 200 kilograms of flour, from which 7,000 layers were made. We&#8217;re celebrating the happiest holiday in a home environment with our loved ones. Here are Stefan, Anja, Nikolina, and mom Bojana,&#8221; said father Vlada, whose hands were shaking with happiness and excitement as he held the gold coin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some families say they come every year with their children, while others found a gold coin for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mother Katarina Milenkovi\u0107 was at the Temple with her two daughters who firmly believed they would find a ducat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/1-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-165796\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Foto: Marko Karovi\u0107<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We came here last year too, but now we&#8217;ve found a gold coin. Three-year-old Nora was lucky, and her eight-year-old sister Helena was saying all morning that she would be lucky. Her wish came true,&#8221; says the happy mother, who is from Kraljevo but lives in Belgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many believers were delighted by the Ili\u0107 family, who came to the breaking of the \u010desnica with four children. I gave birth to four children, I have three sons and a daughter who is here for the first time. We couldn&#8217;t come last year because they were too young, and now we&#8217;re here in full force. Family is the foundation of every society, family is everything, and that&#8217;s why we&#8217;re here today. Christmas is a children&#8217;s holiday, children should be happy,&#8221; emphasized Marija Ili\u0107 and continued:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Since our daughter is still a baby, we will keep her ducat in her box, which will have a special place in the house, and when she grows up a bit, we will show her what she found on Christmas in front of the Temple.
