The Zagreb County Court has ruled that Croatia <\/a><\/strong>must return the S-300 anti-missile system to entrepreneur Zvonko Zubak or pay 200 million US dollars with interest from 1997, N1 Zagreb has learned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to N1 Zagreb, the weapon was purchased in 1994 on the black market when Croatia was under a UN arms embargo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They add that for a long time it has not been known for sure where this system is located, so it is difficult to enforce the part of the non-final judgment about returning the weapon or its parts, which were shown at a military parade in 1995.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trial lasted 22 years and overturned a non-final judgment of the Zagreb Municipal Civil Court, which had completely rejected Zubak’s lawsuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
