He designed and managed the marketing of artists such as Mary Chapin Carpenter, Dolly Parton, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Tammy Wynette, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, The Clash, Barbra Streisand, Elvis Costello\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He left the label and formed a partnership with manager Joe Mansfield to form Mansfield-Martinovich Associates from 1994-2002. There, he became a consultant for the Anderson Merchandisers company, which supplied music for Walmart. He planned and oversaw Walmart&#8217;s &#8220;Country Music Across America Parking Lot Tour&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He then became a partner in The Consortium group from 2002-2017. In that capacity, he co-managed future Grand Ole Opry star Mindy Barnett and worked on the careers of country stars Marie Osmond, Jason Aldean, and Emerson Drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His sons followed in his footsteps. Michael Dimitri Martinovi\u0107 is a manager who has worked with bands such as Good Charlotte, My Morning Jacket, Nada Surf, The Conchords, and Shivaree.
