The famous musician Goran Bregović had his performance at this year’s Sanremo Festival. Together with the young singer-songwriter Ollly, he performed a reinterpretation of the song “Il Pescatore” (“The Fisherman”) by Fabrizio De André on the stage of the Ariston Theater, writes RTS.
By the way, the young Italian singer Olly from Genoa is the winner of this year’s 75th edition of the San Remo festival, Italian media reported.
Olly, as a big favorite, performed last night with the song “Nostalgia” with which, after winning in San Remo, he will represent Italy at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, RAI reports.
Olly, as the winner, received 31 percent of the votes, second place was won by Lucio Korsi with 25.7 percent, and third Brunori Sas with 16.6 percent of the votes.
“It doesn’t seem real to me, I’m so happy. I don’t know what to say, I seem disturbed, but I’m very happy. Lucio, you are a very powerful singer-songwriter. Bye everyone,” the winner said after the voting.
Olly was born on May 5, 2001 in Genoa as Federico Olivieri, son of a lawyer father and a judge mother.
As a teenager, he enrolled in the conservatory and in 2014, at the age of 14, he wrote his first text.
The year 2022 was crucial for his career thanks to the song “Un altra volta” which he released as a single and soon after became viral on TikTok, exceeding five million streams.
