Xue Leng moved to Serbia and later married Dejan. For over three years, she has been celebrating holidays in our country and has learned all the customs. In January, she was a guest on the show “150 Minutes” on Prva, where she revealed she was pregnant, and in the meantime, she gave birth to an adorable baby girl named Minja. A few days before the arrival of the New Year 2026, Xue delighted her followers on Instagram with more good news – she and her husband are expecting another baby!

“The year 2025 was truly very interesting and happy, we can’t wait to spend the year 2026 and we are waiting for our second baby. I wish everyone a happy and successful 2026, thank you all for loving me, following me, and supporting everything I do,” Xue wrote.

“I learned everything from Dejan; for three years I have been preparing everything for Christmas. This year it wasn’t so much me, but my mother-in-law. We made sarme, planted wheat, and welcomed guests. On Christmas Eve, we took straw and put it on the floor. My mother-in-law took candies and money and scattered them on the floor, and we got chocolates. We went to church and burned the yule log. My mother-in-law made the cesnica, but no one found the coin,” said a smiling Xue Leng this past summer while she was counting down the days until her delivery.

“I am supposed to give birth in about a month and a half. We are expecting a girl. Her name will be Minja. We didn’t even think about a Chinese name because she will be born in Serbia, but in our family, we will call her Yue. That doesn’t mean Minja, it’s something else,” Xue said before the birth of her first child. She also revealed that she did not want to take her husband’s last name.

“I can’t take it because it would create chaos for me. I would have to change all my documents both in China and here. Those are papers that are very difficult for me to obtain right now. Everyone advised us not to take the last name because we don’t know if I would be able to get those papers. In China, otherwise, it doesn’t exist for a woman to take her husband’s last name. I’ve never heard of that; it’s very strange to me here in Serbia,” Xue said at the time.

She gets along well with her mother-in-law, she pointed out, but also admitted that she assumes conflicts will arise as soon as she gives birth.

“My mother-in-law and I hang out like friends; we talk about everything. There are no fights; we get along very well. I’m just afraid that when Minja is born, we will start to fight. Chinese people are very strict with children, while here grandmothers and grandfathers pamper them a lot. I can’t stand that. I think we will definitely have a fight. Since I was little, I lived with my grandmother and grandfather, they pampered me a lot, but my parents are strict. Minja will speak Serbian, but she must also know Chinese,” said Xue Leng.
