Vanja Marinković, captain of Partizan’s basketball team, has successfully undergone surgery following an Achilles tendon injury.

Marinković sustained the injury in the final moments of the EuroLeague Round 24 game against Hapoel, played in Munich, which the black-and-whites won after an epic comeback, overcoming a 27-point deficit to secure a 104–101 victory.

Soon afterward, information emerged that he had suffered an Achilles tendon injury, which led to him undergoing surgery in Finland.
