In a house on Feješ Klare Street 33 in the Novi Sad neighborhood of Telep, a horrific crime took place today shortly before 12 noon, when, allegedly, a son killed his mother.
The woman’s headless body was found. Upon arrival, the police found the son with blood on his hands and the woman’s headless body, reports the 192 portal. The murdered woman was 77 years old, while the murder suspect was 47 years old and allegedly had mental health problems.
An investigation is underway at the scene, and the prosecutor of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Novi Sad is also present. As the spokesman for the Institute for Urgent Medicine Novi Sad, Dr. Zoran Krulj, stated to the RTV portal, their team arrived at the scene at 12:02 and confirmed the death of the 77-year-old woman.
Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Novi Sad arrested I.M. (1977) from this city, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of aggravated murder. It is suspected that, during the morning, in a family house in Telep, he killed his 77-year-old mother, the MUP announced.
The scene is being investigated by the competent public prosecutor and police officers.
