UKRAINIAN ARRESTED IN ITALY: Suspected of organizing the attack on the Nord Stream pipeline!

Italian police have arrested Ukrainian citizen Serhiy K. on suspicion of organizing the attacks on the Nord Stream gas pipeline, the German prosecutor’s office announced.

It was stated that Serhiy K. will be extradited to Germany, Reuters reported.

No one has claimed responsibility for the explosions that seriously damaged the pipeline in 2022, which carried gas from Russia to Europe.

It is claimed that Serhiy K. is part of a group responsible for placing explosives on the pipeline near the German island of Bornholm.

Serhiy K., using falsified documents, rented a sailboat with accomplices in Germany, with which they sailed from Rostock and carried out the attack, the prosecutor’s office in Berlin announced.

It is stated that Serhiy K. was arrested on Wednesday evening in Rimini.
