A large-scale Russian attack, using missiles and drones, terrorized Ukraine last night, with air raid alarms sounding across the country, including in western areas far from the front lines.
This is according to the Kyiv Independent, which recalls that Russian bombardments have dramatically intensified over the past and current month, and massive attacks are becoming more frequent and deadly.
The Ukrainian Air Force warned late last night that Russia had launched three Tu-95 bombers from the Olenya military airfield in the Murmansk region, and that several groups of Russian drones were moving towards various regions.
Hours later, the Air Force reported that a Russian MiG-31K – an aircraft capable of carrying Kinzhal ballistic missiles – had taken off from Savasleyka airfield in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region.
