The new U.S. administration under President Donald Trump has halted funding for NGOs worldwide, a decision that has already begun to impact Serbia significantly.
Subversive organizations previously funded by Washington will no longer receive financial support in the coming period, pending a review of all expenditures and the purposes for which U.S. funds are being used.
In an email sent to all NGOs in Serbia affiliated with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), it was stated that, in accordance with an executive order from President Donald Trump, they had received notice of a temporary suspension of all activities under the contract for the implementation of the “Justice for All” project.

“We regret to inform you that we must suspend all activities carried out under the engagement with YUCOM within the framework of the ‘Justice for All’ project. The period designated for the suspension is 90 days while all projects undergo review,” reads the email, signed by the United States Agency for International Development.
