The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, received a congratulatory message from the President of the USA, Donald Trump, on the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia, in which the American president pointed out that the USA is committed to further strengthening the firm friendship with Serbia, and that the two countries are working together on increasing trade exchange and investment and improving the economic prosperity of citizens.
In the greeting, Trump stated that Serbia was the first foreign country whose flag flew in a place of honor above the White House, the Office for Cooperation with the Media of the President of the Republic announced.
”On behalf of the people of the USA, I send my most sincere congratulations to you and the people of Serbia on the occasion of Statehood Day, which you celebrate on February 15. During almost all 250 years of freedom of the USA, Serbia has been a good friend to us. Serbia was, in fact, the first foreign country whose flag flew in a place of honor above the White House. The USA is committed to further strengthening our firm friendship, while we work together on increasing trade exchange and investment and improving the economic prosperity of our citizens,” the congratulation from the President of the USA states.
Numerous world officials, including the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the President of China Xi Jinping, congratulated President Vučić on the Statehood Day of Serbia, February 15.
