U.S. President Donald Trump stated last night that on the first day of his term, January 20, he will put an end to what he called “transgender madness,” declaring that under his administration there will only be two genders—male and female, The New York Times reported.
“We will end transgender madness. I will sign orders to stop the sexual mutilation of children. Under my administration, there will be only two genders in the United States—male and female. We will eliminate transgender concepts from the military, elementary schools, and high schools,” Trump emphasized during a conference of the conservative group “Turning Point” in Arizona.
He also added that America would remove men from women’s categories and vice versa.
“Should I do it on the first, second, or third day? Or what do you think—should I just do it on the first day?” Trump asked the audience, who responded with applause.

He also criticized diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in public institutions and private companies.
Trump promised to ban such programs, stating that he “believes in a merit-based system” in the United States.
“We will stop the woke (political correctness),” Trump said, according to the New York-based newspaper.
