Serbian basketball player Tristan Vukčević played one of his best games in the NBA league. In the Washington Wizards’ loss against the Boston Celtics (111:100), the former Partizan player scored 22 points, three rebounds and one assist.
Only Neemias Queta was more efficient in the game with 24 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. Unfortunately, his team could not do more against an in-form Boston. Vukčević shot excellently, going 6/7 for three points, 1/2 for two points and 2/2 from the free-throw line.
This is Washington’s 11th consecutive loss and the team is currently second-to-last in the Eastern Conference standings. After this victory, Boston strengthened its position in second place behind Detroit.
Besides Vukčević, Watkins stood out for Washington with 15 points, while Coulibaly added 12. Besides the aforementioned Queta, Boston was led by Jayson Tatum with 20 points and 14 rebounds.
