The trial of the minor son of Milomir Jaćimović will begin on February 2 at the Basic Court in Novi Sad for an alleged attack on an authorized official. The case concerns an incident in front of the premises of the Serbian Progressive Party in Novi Sad, on Bulevar oslobođenja, when Jaćimović’s son was arrested, reports Nova.rs.
He is charged with attacking an authorized official, while footage circulating on social media shows something different, which is not stated in the indictment. Several police officers surrounded the teenager, threw him onto a bench and arrested him, reports Nova.rs.
It is not visible that the young man attacked them.
Milomir Jaćimović is a transport operator who became one of the symbols of the protests following the collapse of the canopy at the Novi Sad Railway Station on November 1, 2024, which claimed 16 lives, and which followed the attack by SNS thugs on students of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

Jaćimović transported students and citizens across Serbia and found himself targeted by the regime. His vehicles were confiscated, various fines were issued against him, and buses ended up undergoing extraordinary technical inspections. He and his son were arrested several times on various charges.
The pressure continues not only on Jaćimović, but also on his family and friends.
“I am already tired of all the fines they have written me, and this attack on the family is terrible. Anyone who doesn’t believe it should look at the footage. One day it will be taught what they did to us, and everything has been recorded, and someone will one day have to be held accountable,” Milomir Jaćimović told the Nova.rs portal.
