A 33-year-old man drowned during a descent at the Drina Regatta. The circumstances surrounding the tragedy are being investigated by the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Užice.
The incident occurred during the regatta, which runs from Rogačica to Ljubovija. A 33-year-old man from the village of Grabovica near Ljubovija drowned in the Drina River during the descent, organizers confirmed to RTS.
The circumstances of the tragedy are being determined, and the investigation is being led by the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Užice, as reported by RTS correspondent.
