A 13-year-old girl was seriously injured after an accident near the Galerija Belgrade shopping center, caused by the vehicle’s high speed
A 13-year-old girl was seriously injured when she was struck as a pedestrian last night around 8:52 p.m. near TC Galerija and was transported to the Emergency Center, the Emergency Medical Service told Tanjug.
A 28-year-old man was seriously injured, and a 24-year-old woman slightly injured in a traffic accident on the Novi Sad – Belgrade highway last night around 1:10 a.m., and both were transported to the Emergency Center.
In addition to these, three more traffic accidents occurred in Belgrade during the night in which four people were slightly injured.
The Emergency Medical Service intervened a total of 112 times during the night, of which 24 interventions were in public places.
Those seeking help were mostly chronic patients, and they most frequently complained of shortness of breath and choking, the Emergency Medical Service said.
Let us recall, the girl was transported to the Emergency Center with severe bodily injuries after the accident that occurred last night near TC Galerija.
“She was admitted to the surgical operating room. She was brought to the hospital with severe trauma. She is in life-threatening condition, she has been intubated and has internal bleeding,” a source told “Blic”.
According to our information, the girl immediately lost consciousness. According to unofficial information, the vehicle was driven by a young man S. K. (19).
Eyewitnesses to the accident claim that the driver was moving at high speed.
Witnesses of the traffic accident state that due to the force of the impact, the girl was thrown several meters into the air.
