A student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, Luka Pešić, announced on X (social network) that members of the Criminal Police Directorate of Serbia came to his house this morning “for coffee” in order to conduct a search because, as he stated, they probably consider him a “serious criminal.”
“Good morning to everyone, and especially to the UKP who decided to come for coffee at my house to conduct a ‘search’ because, well, I’m a serious criminal,” wrote Luka Pešić, a student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering who has, unfortunately, had contact with the police several times without any reason.
Dobro jutro svima, a posebno UKP-u koji je odlučio da dodje na kafu na moju kuću radi “pretresa” jer, jelte, ja sam ozbiljan kriminalac

Luka then added that members of the UKP were still “sipping coffee at his place,” waiting for him to arrive.
“I will be there soon because they asked me to be present during the search and to ‘give a statement’ to them, in my own house which they entered, because that’s apparently the practice,” he wrote.
Luka actively participates in student activities and protests and has even been arrested several times — seemingly without any clear reason.
Trenutno pripadnici UKP-a i dalje srču kafu kod mene kući, ja stižem uskoro tamo jer su tražili da prisustvujem pretresu i “dam izjavu” njima, u svojoj kući u koju su upali, jer to je praksa očigledno

Recently he was also a “target” of police officers who chased him after a protest in order to detain him.
At that time, he said that on two occasions he was chased by police officers in full riot gear who, after spotting the group he was with, quickly jumped out of a police van and ran after them to arrest them.
Luka recorded that moment, and the video went viral on social media.
Some found it funny because the police officers could not catch him, while others considered it traumatic because officers were chasing a young man who had done nothing wrong.
