Novak Djokovic has experienced a lot in Australia. At the Grand Slam he has won a record ten times, he has experienced the best and the worst moments of his professional career. Even as an accomplished champion and a true legend of “white sport”, he had to spend some time in an immigration center (mildly put) during the coronavirus pandemic, where, according to him, he was literally poisoned.
After he was not allowed to defend his title that year, he returned the following year and conquered Melbourne again. And now he is at the Australian Open again and will play the final again, reaching the quarterfinals. But, in Australia, they continue to attack a champion like they will almost certainly never have again.

A new scandal was created by the well-known “Channel 9” host Tony Jones, when a few days ago he publicly mocked Serbian fans and Djokovic himself.
The journalist, after the Serbian tennis player explained via social media the reason why he did not give an interview after the victory against Jiri Lehecka, apologized to Djokovic, saying it was a joke.

The world’s richest man, the owner of “X”, Elon Musk, reacted to Novak’s post, and very quickly Djokovic replied. The American stood by the Serb:
“It’s much better to talk directly to the public than go through the negative filter of the media,” Musk said, and Nole added briefly: “Indeed.”
