Two people are in critical condition, while three others, in moderately serious condition, were taken to the hospital. One of the attackers has been arrested. Two people were seriously injured when a man stabbed five people in the dormitory of the Medical Faculty in the Russian city of Ufa, reports Baza.

Three more people have been hospitalized, and their condition is described as “moderately serious.”

It turned out that among the injured was also a child, who was taken to the city hospital in moderately serious condition.

The attack on the students in the dormitory of the Medical University in Ufa was reported by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk.

According to her information, the man wounded five people, including a police officer. The attacker (born in 2002) was detained, Volk emphasized.

Later, information appeared that six people had been injured. Students from the university themselves helped carry the wounded out of the dormitory building.

According to eyewitnesses, there may have been two attackers. One female student stated that one was quickly detained, while the other held a hostage in the building’s gym for some time.

Earlier, a court had issued a verdict against a student who attacked a technical school in Arkhangelsk.
