The young Serbian athlete Angelina Topić achieved the result of her career. At the recently concluded World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, she managed to win a bronze medal in the high jump, thereby “surpassing” both her mother Biljana and her father Dragutin.
In this way, Angelina managed to bring Serbia its fifth medal in history, as Emir Bekrić had previously won one, and Ivana Španović had won four.
Angelina also had some luck at this competition, as she got the medal after Yaroslava Mahuchikh failed to clear 202 centimetres, but, in the end, only the result matters. It should also be noted that Angelina won the medal after she managed to clear the bar on her first attempt at 188 centimetres, then at 193, and then at 197.
She has now also posted on her Instagram profile, where she put up her photo with a short caption.
-I succeeded… Bronze at the World Championship – Angelina wrote briefly.
