Students of the State University of Novi Pazar (DUNP), who are walking to Novi Sad, “accidentally” spent the night in the lodgings of the Studenica Monastery, and student Inas Hodžić describes the overnight stay as “a healing of the soul.”
DUNP students are walking to Novi Sad for a protest that will be held on November 1 in Novi Sad.
Since their accommodation in Raška was canceled, they spent the night in the lodgings of the Studenica Monastery.
“We arrived a little later, everyone in the monastery had gone to sleep, the on-duty doormen were there. The night was wonderful. When we got to Raška, we realized that the accommodation in Raška was canceled and that we wouldn’t be able to stay there. We talked to the locals and they said that there are lodgings. Everyone was skeptical that we would sleep there, but I am grateful to the Monastery for allowing it. The Monastery is beautiful, as is the nature. This is a true healing of the soul, it restored our energy to continue on,” the DUNP student pointed out.
The next destination is Maglič, where they should arrive by 8 p.m.
“As long as we are alive and healthy, we will arrive,” the student stressed.
He also pointed out that the Informer team follows them from time to time, and that they do not want to reveal the next accommodation location.
