The Speaker of the Assembly, Ana Brnabić, said that Serbian Progressive Party MP Jasmina Obradović suffered a stroke after an incident broke out at the Assembly session today.
She added that MP Jasmina Karanac allegedly suffered severe bodily injuries, while pregnant MP Sonja Ilić fainted.
“MP Jasmina Obradović suffered a stroke when opposition MPs threw a stun grenade at her. Her life is in danger,” Brnabić said during the Assembly session.

An ambulance team entered the Serbian Assembly after the incident, Beta reports.
Footage from the Assembly shows the ambulance providing assistance to Jasmina Obradović.
It can also be seen on the networks how she is being taken out of the National Assembly and taken to the emergency room.

Serbian Progressive Party MP Žika Gojković hit Social Democratic Party of Serbia MP Jasmina Karanac, as seen in a video circulating on social networks.
Karanac, according to information conveyed by Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabić, sustained severe bodily injuries during the incident in the Assembly.
Brnabić said that Karanac was injured “when a stun grenade hit her in the head,” for which she blamed opposition MPs.

However, as can be seen in the Assembly footage, Gojković, who was sitting in the SNS parliamentary benches, swung and hit Karanac with an unknown object, which is suspected to be a bottle. Other MPs then helped her leave the hall.
Brnabić said that two other MPs were injured, one of whom, according to her, suffered a stroke, while the other is an eight-month pregnant woman.

The session of the Serbian Assembly was interrupted today around 11:30 AM when opposition MPs left their benches and lit smoke bombs.
The incident occurred after the agenda was adopted and when the ministers started entering the hall.
