Heavy rains over the past few days across large parts of California have caused floods and landslides, resulting in three fatalities.
According to the BBC, the storms—which are expected to continue throughout today—brought 27 centimeters of rain to some areas of Los Angeles County, triggering evacuations and blocking traffic on major streets.
Emergency services had to conduct several rescue operations, including saving people trapped in vehicles due to rising floodwaters.
