His Holiness, Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, has ordered the Religious Charitable Trusteeship in Belgrade to send a one-time aid of 100,000 euros to the most endangered families in Jablanica, through the Diocese of Zahumlje and Herzegovina.

Patriarch Porfirije, who is currently on a canonical visit to the clergy in Canada, upon hearing about the catastrophic floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina, ordered that a one-time aid of 100,000 euros be sent to the most endangered families.

The aid will be distributed regardless of faith or nationality, the Serbian Orthodox Church announced.

Patriarch Porfirije appeals to all people of the Balkans, and especially in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, to show mutual solidarity in these difficult days, because, as he states, we all need each other.
