The White House confirmed that Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation regarding the alleged Ukrainian drone attack on Putin’s residence.

The Kremlin stated that Trump was informed of Russia’s claims that a drone attack had targeted the presidential residence of Vladimir Putin.

Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that Trump was shocked when Putin told him about the attack.

White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt previously posted on social media that Trump and Putin had another conversation before this one, following yesterday’s talks in Florida, and described it as “positive.”

Earlier, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Trump and Putin would hold “another” phone conversation soon, following their discussion yesterday.

Trump called these discussions productive and said he would update the Russian president after his meeting with Volodymyr Zelenski in Florida.
