The Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church has been convened and will solemnly begin with an archiepiscopal liturgy in the Church of Saint Sava in Vračar, the Serbian Orthodox Church announced.
The regular session solemnly begins with a conciliar holy liturgy with the “invocation of the Holy Spirit.”
The working part of the highest hierarchical, church-legislative, and church-judicial body of the SPC, under the presidency of Patriarch Porfirije and with the participation of the archbishops, will begin the following day in the crypt of the Memorial Church of Saint Sava in Vračar.

According to the procedure determined by the Rules of Procedure, the session begins with the adoption of the agenda, which consists of the received items submitted by the Holy Synod of Bishops, and continues with the consideration of reports on the work of all diocesan bishops, central church bodies, organs, and institutions.
“At the end of the session, the Assembly will issue a public statement about its work,” the SPC announced.
