Serbian Olympian Anja Ilić took part on Tuesday morning in the qualifications for the classical cross-country sprint race and we will not be watching her in the Olympic semifinal.

In the qualifications, which featured 89 competitors, Anja Ilić finished in the next-to-last, 88th place. Ilić completed the qualifications in a time of 4:44.69, with a deficit of 1:08.45 compared to the winner of the qualifications.

The qualifications were dominated by the Swedes. The winner of the qualifications was Lin Svan, who covered the 800 meters in a time of 3:36.21. Her compatriot Jona Sundling was 1.03 seconds behind, while Johana Hagstrom, also from Sweden, was 2.64 seconds slower.

Thirty competitors will take part in the sprint semifinal, which is scheduled for 12:55, while the final will be held at 13:24.

Anja will compete on Thursday in the 10-kilometer race in the freestyle technique.
