A protest of students and citizens was held tonight in Belgrade due to the brutal violence that the police used yesterday in Novi Sad. After the protest held in Ušće Park, the police began mass arrests of students, Nova.rs writes.
As Nova.rs previously published, the police stopped at bus stops near Ušće and conducted mass searches and arrests of students.

“Students of Law in Blockade” announced that the police are stopping in transport vans and detaining citizens and students.
In the pictures they published, as this media outlet writes, a group of students can be seen in a cordon of police in full gear.

Also, in a video from the Faculty of Agriculture, it is stated that the police lined up young men against a wall and are conducting searches and arrests near the Student City.
They announced that, according to their list, at least six students from various faculties were arrested, but that in the meantime, one female student was released.

The citizens of Serbia protested again tonight – because activists of the Serbian Progressive Party attacked students on the plateau near the theater in Novi Sad. Several incidents occurred near Ušće in Belgrade. Pyrotechnics were thrown, and there was a chase with the police in the park. An N1 reporter witnessed the arrest of one young man, and “Students of Law in Blockade” claim that a “police van intercepted and arrested several citizens.”
