Republican and provincial MPs, as well as city councilors, are blocking the court and prosecutor’s office in Novi Sad today as well.
Republican and provincial MPs, as well as city councilors, blocked the entrance to the Prosecutor’s Office and the court in Novi Sad for almost six hours on Tuesday, in order to demand the finding of those responsible for the tragedy in that city, as well as the release of politicians and activists who were arrested during and after the protests due to the collapse of the canopy at the Railway Station.

The blockade was marked by numerous incidents.

MPs and councilors at the blockade in front of the court and prosecutor’s office remained until the end of the working hours of these institutions.

An N1 reporter says the plan is for the blockade to last six hours.

A call was made to all Novi Sad councilors, provincial and republican MPs to appear at today’s blockade, and judges and prosecutors were told to “take annual leave or sick leave” and not come to work.

Srđan Milivojević and some others entered the court through the exit door and are inside with the police, reports 021.rs. Shortly after, the police and court guards physically began to remove citizens and journalists from the court. The court guards attacked citizens inside the court and pushed one onto an 021.rs journalist.

In front of the court and citizens, but not in the front rows

An N1 reporter says that citizens have gathered with the opposition representatives, but they are not in the front rows, but are watching from the side. There are more of them than yesterday, and after yesterday’s crowd, people know that the blockade is planned.

Police push the opposition with shields

An N1 reporter reports that there is a discussion between the MPs who are trying to return to their positions with the police, who are pushing them down with shields. It seems, she says, that this will be the case throughout the day. MPs Dragana Rakić, Jelena Milošević, and Danijela Nestorović struggled for some time on the stairs around a shield with one of the policemen, and then returned to the blockade, where pushing and shoving with the police members is still ongoing.
