SCANDAL IN BOLOGNA: Vildoza and His Serbian Wife Arrested, Then Released After Alleged Attack on Medical Team!

The ANSA agency confirmed that Luca Vildoza and his wife Milica were released from custody after previously being arrested for an alleged attack on medical personnel.

According to the Italian newspaper Il Resto del Carlino, the incident began when Vildoza allegedly blocked an ambulance with his car and then physically assaulted one of the paramedics, grabbing him by the neck.

His wife also became involved in the altercation, after which both were taken into custody and later released a few hours later.

“The case of Luca Vildoza is, of course, a major topic in Bologna, but also beyond. According to information received by Sportando in the last few minutes, the player’s detention was allegedly not confirmed by the judge, so further developments are expected in the coming days. Luca Vildoza, who is no longer in custody, is reportedly ready to travel with the team to Lyon, where a game against ASVEL is scheduled for tomorrow,” Sportando reports, with the same news confirmed by ANSA.

The Vildoza and Milica Scandal

According to Italian media reports, the ambulance stopped near the arena to confirm the address it had been dispatched to when Vildoza’s car arrived.

Irritated that the vehicle was blocking his way, the basketball player began flashing his headlights and insulting the medical team.

The situation escalated further when they encountered each other again, this time with the ambulance’s siren and lights activated. Vildoza allegedly continued to obstruct the vehicle, braking and maneuvering in front of it.

When the paramedics stopped the vehicle to ask why he was doing that, the Argentine reportedly started yelling and grabbed one of them by the neck.

His wife Milica, according to reports, then pulled the paramedic’s hair and attempted to push him away. At that moment, a nearby police patrol intervened and broke up the altercation, with representatives of Virtus arriving at the scene shortly thereafter.
