Vojvodina, western, and central Serbia are mostly sunny and cold today. In other regions, it will be mostly cloudy, with occasional light snow in the south and southeast, the RHMZ (Republic Hydrometeorological Service) announced.
Snowfall warning
“In the extreme south of Serbia, in the region of Kosovo and Metohija and in the Pčinjski district, new snowfall is expected, which will lead to the formation or increase of the snow cover by 10 to 15 cm, locally even more,” the latest RHMZ warning states.

Meteorological alarm activated
A yellow meteorological alert for snow is in effect in southeastern and southwestern Serbia, as well as in Kosovo and Metohija. This warning means that the weather may be potentially dangerous: The forecasted weather phenomena are not unusual, but caution is advised if you plan activities that are exposed to meteorological risks. You should continue to stay informed about the expected weather conditions. Do not take unnecessary risks.
Cold in the coming days
Sunday will be cold. In Vojvodina, partly cloudy and dry with sunny intervals. Over the rest of the country, mostly cloudy, mostly dry, and only in the mountainous regions of southwestern and southern Serbia occasionally with snow. More precipitation is expected in the region of Kosovo and Metohija and in the Pčinjski district with 10 to 15 cm of new snow, locally even more. Wind weak and moderate, northwesterly. Morning temperature from -4 to 0 °C, and the highest daytime temperature from 0 to 5 °C.
Until Thursday, cold weather with morning frost and daytime temperatures around and slightly above 0 °C.
On Monday, moderately to completely cloudy, mostly dry, and sunny intervals in the north, and only in the southwest, south, and southeast of the country with snow, with the formation or increase in snow cover.
On Tuesday and Wednesday (15.01.-16.01.), mostly cloudy, occasionally with light short-term precipitation, rain, and snow.
