For the first time this happened in the second quarter, Hapoel took the lead, and then in the third they managed to turn the result around completely. At the very end of the third period, Zvezda let the lead slip and it seemed that everything had gone to a point of no return.
Hapoel entered the last 10 minutes with a lead of seven points, it was 69:62, it seemed that it was settled and that the Zvezda team had let another victory slip, but, then something completely incredible happened in this match. Zvezda played perfect defense, while Hapoel could not hit anything.
They struggled to reach points, they struggled very much, while Zvezda’s advantage grew.
In the end, Hapoel scored only six points in the last 10 minutes, which was enough for Zvezda to reach the victory.
