The news from Melbourne is not good at all for the Serbian ace.
The tournament is just about to begin, and the Serbian ace is in great trouble… At least that is how the scenes from Australia appear.
Novak Djokovic first trained with Jiri Lehecka on Tuesday, but then, on Wednesday, during the second afternoon session on court number 10, he complained of pain, which prompted a reaction from Miljan Amanovic.
That training session lasted only 12 minutes, and Amanovic had his hands full, considering that Novak was troubled by his neck.

It lasted just … 12 minutes.
A chunk of that time was taken up with the Serb having his neck manipulated by his trainer. He had all his knuckles and even his thumb just DUG in there. It looked pretty painful." pic.twitter.com/pgfrS2JiWI
Those who observed these scenes say that everything looked very painful for the Serbian ace.
Novak talked more with his associates than he trained, only to put on a sweatshirt at one point and leave the training. Before all this, in the morning hours, Novak sparred with Daniil Medvedev.
As a reminder, the draw for the AO is scheduled for Thursday, while the tournament starts on Sunday.
