Prince Philip Karađorđević published photos of how the center of Belgrade, where the ruling party’s camp Ćacilend has been located since March, looked during the time of the Kingdom and called for this public space to be restored to a state befitting its history, and not to be the scene of political conflicts.
Prince Philip Karađorđević wrote alongside the published photos:
“This was the Court Park, a place of dignity, orderliness, and public pride, a space that connected state institutions and citizens.
Today’s Pioneer Park is not an ordinary green island in the center of Belgrade; it is part of our historical, state, and cultural identity. State life was shaped on this space, and modern Serbia was built.

It is the duty of all of us to ensure that this space remains a symbol of tidiness, peace, and community, and not a picture of neglect and political conflicts. This is not a question of politics, but of culture, memory, and responsibility.
The Court Park belongs to all citizens of Serbia, and deserves to look again as befits its history.”
Ćacilend (the generally accepted name) is a camp of ruling party supporters that has been set up since March of this year between the buildings of the National Assembly, the Old and New Court, i.e., the Presidency building, and also encompasses Pioneer Park located between them, as well as the monument to the writer Ivo Andrić (Andrićev Venac).
