In her upcoming documentary “Unbreakable”, tennis legend Jelena Dokić shares her harrowing journey, from a promising young athlete to a survivor of severe abuse.
The film, set to be released next month, will explore Dokić’ life from her childhood in Yugoslavia to her rise to fame in the world of tennis.
With candid interviews and never-before-seen footage, Dokić offers a heartbreaking account of the physical and emotional abuse she experienced at the hands of her father.
Dokić, who represented both Serbia and Australia in her career, achieved significant success on the court, reaching the semifinals of Wimbledon in 2000.
However, behind the scenes, she was battling a private hell. The documentary promises to shed light on the dark side of her life, revealing how she overcame adversity to become a beacon of hope for survivors of abuse.
