Citizens of Serbia and students who have been blocking faculties for more than seven months united last night and together responded to the regime’s failure to meet demands, specifically, not calling elections or removing Ćacilend. As a result, more than 50 locations in over 20 cities were blocked last night, and they announce that blockades will continue today. They also demand the release of all those arrested.
An N1 television reporter reports that police officers with balaclavas on their faces are removing the blockade in Zemun.
As he emphasizes, there is no violence, no physical confrontation; there was only a request for the gathered people to move aside and for the street to be cleared.
However, it is not known how long the “cleared street” will remain so, as citizens and students say they are in no hurry and will re-establish the blockade when the opportunity arises.
The blockade in Pančevo has been interrupted, Nova.rs learns.
The police remained at the blockade to guard it.
