The captain of the black-and-whites suffered an Achilles tendon rupture.

Bad news is coming from Munich. An ultrasound examination showed that the captain of Partizan Mozzart Bet, Vanja Marinković, suffered an Achilles tendon rupture in the closing stages of the game against Hapoel, which will sideline him for a longer period.

From the black-and-whites’ camp it was stated that Vanja will also undergo an MRI examination upon arriving in Belgrade, after which a decision will be made on how this injury will be treated.

Marinković played one of his better games this season. He spent 23 minutes on the court and made four three-pointers from eight attempts. He also recorded three rebounds and one assist.

The captain of the Steamroller was injured on the final possession of the fourth quarter, while trying to fight for a shot, but suddenly slipped and landed awkwardly on his leg. After receiving medical assistance, ice was applied to the painful area, and he used crutches to move.

This season, Marinković is averaging 5.9 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game in the EuroLeague. We will see when he will again be in a position.
