On the basis of the Joint Trilateral Declaration, which was signed in 2025 by the ministers of defense of so-called Kosovo, Albania and Croatia, a trilateral meeting was held at the level of directors of defense policies and armaments.
The meeting was held in Croatia, it is stated in the announcement of the Ministry of Defense of so-called Kosovo.
“The delegation of the Republic of Kosovo was led by the director of defense policy Faruk Geci, and opinions were exchanged on the possibilities for improving joint cooperation in the field of defense capacities, cooperation between the defense industries of the signatory countries, as well as further steps for the implementation of the Declaration,” the announcement states.
The Declaration defines four main areas of further trilateral cooperation, which include the promotion of cooperation in the field of defense capacities and defense industry, increasing interoperability through education, training and joint exercises, addressing hybrid threats and strengthening resilience, as well as providing continuous and full support for Euro-Atlantic integrations.
