Hunter Biden’s house, the son of outgoing US President Joe Biden, has been completely destroyed by fires in Malibu.

This is a house that Hunter Biden rents for $15,800 a month and has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a panoramic ocean view, according to the Daily Mail.

The house is located in Pacific Palisades, which has been hardest hit by the devastating fires that have been ravaging this part of California for days.

US President Joe Biden earlier told a press conference upon arriving in Santa Monica, California, that he was “uncertain about the fate of his son’s house” but that Hunter had been informed that the house may have burned down.

“What’s happening is unbelievable. My son and his wife have been informed that their home has probably burned down, but it looks like it might still be standing today, although I’m not sure,” said the 82-year-old president.

However, exclusive photos from the Daily Mail show that the $4 million luxury home, where Hunter (54) lives with his wife Melissa Cohen, is one of over 1,000 homes destroyed in the fires currently raging in Los Angeles County.

The once picturesque home, with white facades and floor-to-ceiling windows, is now just a pile of rubble with two chimneys still standing. The studio where Hunter painted, which was part of a guest apartment with a private balcony and ocean view, was also destroyed.

In addition to Hunter’s house, the home used by his Secret Service security was also destroyed in the fire. Renting that house cost just under $16,000 a month, paid for by US taxpayers.

This house was just one of several luxury properties that Hunter has rented in recent years. He previously lived in a Spanish-style house in Malibu, which cost him $20,000 a month, while the Secret Service was housed in an even more luxurious property nearby for $30,000 a month.

Despite losing his home, 2025 started positively for Hunter, after his father pardoned him last month, closing all legal troubles that had followed him.

The pardon covers all crimes that Hunter may have committed between 2014 and 2024, including tax convictions and false statements made when purchasing a firearm. Instead of a prison sentence, Hunter remained free.
